Join Our Team as a General Practitioner in Youth Mental Health

At headspace, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality medical services to young people aged 12-25 years. As a General Practitioner in our Cairns centre, you will play a vital role in delivering early intervention services, including primary health, mental health, substance use counselling, and social recovery programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical services to young people, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure integrated and youth-friendly health care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical and mental health needs of young people.
  • Participate in regular peer support opportunities and continuing professional development in youth mental health.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in youth mental health care.
