Water Features Technician
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in our open space contract, maintaining water assets in Melbourne's iconic parks and gardens.
- Maintain all water features.
- Service fountains and ponds daily to ensure they are free of litter, leaves, and debris.
- Test and chemically dose water regularly.
The role involves undertaking major cleans and repairs of water features, servicing and maintaining assets such as UV lamps, aerators, filters, and pumps, and assisting in all areas of the Water Team, including plumbing, irrigation, and stormwater management.
Responsibilities- Maintaining water quality.
- Servicing fountains and ponds.
- Undertaking maintenance tasks.
- Collaborating with the Water Team.
- Certificated Plumber AQF Level 4.
- Experience maintaining, installing, and repairing fountains, ponds, and water features.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
