About the Role

Mabu Mabu is seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Driver/Server to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our food offerings to various event locations, while also providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Food Delivery and Service: Safely transport food, beverages, and catering equipment to event venues in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are secure during transit.
  2. Event Setup and Execution: Load and unload catering supplies, set up catering equipment and food displays according to event specifications and company standards, and assist with food preparation and assembly when necessary.
  3. Customer Service: Provide excellent waitering service during events, including serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and attending to guests' needs.
  4. Logistics and Administration: Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering vehicles and equipment at all times, collaborate effectively with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction, and adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving company vehicles.
  5. Communication and Coordination: Communicate professionally with clients and venue staff to coordinate delivery and service logistics, and assist with other catering-related tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. Valid Driver's License: Full valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
  2. Experience and Skills: Previous experience as a catering driver and waiter/waitress preferred, strong knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
  3. Physical Demands: Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy catering equipment and supplies.
  4. Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  5. Teamwork and Attitude: Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  6. Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
