Electrical Compliance Specialist

Amentum is a leading provider of engineering, project management, and solutions integration services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Specialist to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia.

About the Role

The Electrical Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and works carried out within the Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap (JDFPG) conform to the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and JDFPG Policy and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Electrical Safety Program to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct field inspections and compile investigation reports to identify and address technical deficiencies.
  • Support the early identification, communication, and resolution of technical issues associated with critical infrastructure installation, recapitalization, and configuration change activities.
  • Provide technical recommendations and input on facilities system, infrastructure, and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, and life-cycle management.
Requirements
  • State-licensed Master Electrician with experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical installation blueprints.
  • Leadership and management skills with experience in project planning and coordination.
  • Familiarity with LOTO procedures and other EH&S protocols.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to obtain and retain a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI clearance.

Benefits

Amentum offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
