Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Paint Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in our Burleigh Heads store.

About the Role

This part-time position works across a rotating roster in our 6-day a week trading store (Monday - Saturday). You will be required to:

  • Provide expert advice and solutions to customers regarding paint products
  • Tint paint to customer requirements
  • Manage inventory control, including receiving and stock taking
  • Process orders in-store and by phone
  • Replenish stock, including heavy items such as 15L paint drums
  • Built strong relationships with repeat customers and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest colour forecasts and product releases
  • Contribute to visual displays, store presentation, and housekeeping
  • Maintain compliance with safe work practices
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A driver's licence to perform local deliveries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience with stock handling and merchandising
  • The ability to lift heavy items, including 15L cans of paint
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems or relevant technical skills
  • Numeracy skills to process transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively unsupervised
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
