Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

The successful candidate will deliver mental health assessment and brief intervention through home visits/outreach and/or virtual care services. They will operate within a bio-psycho-social cultural approach and provide care navigation to children, young people, and their families, to improve mental health, social, and emotional well-being.

This is a shift work role, working extended hours between 8am - 8.30pm and some weekend hours. You will be supported by the Aboriginal Mental Health Workforce and have access to Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) education framework, Ministry of Health training/networks, and other relevant professional development opportunities.

  • Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or Occupational Therapy required.
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, if applicable, and postgraduate qualifications in the specialty field are essential.
  • Experience requirements for appointment under the NSW Public Health System Nurses' & Midwives' State Award must be met.
