About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our community legal service, you will provide high-quality legal services to clients, working closely with colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.

This is a permanent full-time/part-time position that requires a driven and motivated individual who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable community members.

  • Key Responsibilities include providing legal advice, information, and ongoing legal support services to clients.
  • You will participate in the development of operational work plans for the team and provide mentoring and supervision to junior solicitors.
  • Review draft communications for the team of solicitors and manage their reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • A current unsupervised QLS Practicing Certificate.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Solicitor.
  • Domestic and Family Violence Duty Lawyer Accreditation or willingness to undertake training.

The Ideal Candidate:

Must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of generalist community law knowledge and skills.
