Role Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized therapy services to residents in our dynamic multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with the care model to develop evidence-based programs that cater to resident goals.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.

  • Assess resident needs and develop tailored therapy plans to improve functionality and overall well-being
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities

• Develop and implement effective therapy plans to address identified needs

• Provide regular updates to residents, families, and healthcare professionals on progress and outcomes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check
