Job Title

A Senior Merchandise Planner is responsible for driving merchandise planning, inventory management and performance analysis to support sales, profit and inventory productivity targets.

About the Role

The role requires developing seasonal and annual sales, margin and inventory forecasts by category, subcategory, product type and lifecycle. The planner must translate merchandise strategies into actionable planning frameworks, OTB and inventory allocations. They will partner with finance to ensure integrated financial planning and quarterly re-forecasting.

The successful candidate will provide detailed data analysis and recommendations to inform category strategies, assortment mix and in-season trading decisions. They will maintain rolling 12 month demand forecasts by style by region and lead scenario planning during periods of market volatility or strategic shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop accurate seasonal and annual sales, margin and inventory forecasts.
  • Translate merchandise strategies into actionable planning frameworks.
  • Partner with finance to ensure integrated financial planning.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform category strategies.
