Job Title: Finance Analyst, Planning and Reporting

This is a one-year fixed-term position working 36.75 hours per week.

  • The finance analyst will be an integral part of the financial planning & reporting team, coordinating and preparing budgets & forecasts and producing relevant reports on the university's performance for various stakeholders.
  • Evaluating practices to inform continuous improvement will be key features of this interesting and challenging role.

A certified public accountant (CPA) or chartered accountant (CA) member, or currently working towards this qualification, you will have significant experience in budget and forecasting preparation, management reporting and variance analysis in a complex organisational environment.

You will enjoy working in a collaborative team committed to achieving common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate and timely financial information.
  • Coordinating and preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Producing relevant reports on the university's performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in budget and forecasting preparation.
  • Experience in management reporting and variance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
