The estimated salary for this role is $42.76 - $53.46 per hour, plus shift penalties and superannuation.
Job OverviewThis is a dynamic nursing position that requires the ability to provide high-standard clinical care with a person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Care Manager and will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care, acting as a team leader, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
- A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
