About the Position

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our medical practice in Greenvale, Melbourne.

As a VR GP, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients in a variety of settings. This includes diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing preventative care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and take detailed patient histories
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
  • Provide preventative care, including health education and screenings
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Completion of a general practice training program or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
