Environmental Management Position

We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a critical role in enabling environmental compliance and emission reduction through the development and implementation of a group wide environmental management system.
This will involve providing direction and guidance to our on-site environmental teams and working with them to support effective risk management, monitoring, reporting and identifying opportunities to effectively monitor and reduce emissions, waste and water use.
The successful applicant will have a degree in environmental science or related field, at least 5 years' experience in an environmental management or compliance role, knowledge of environmental legislation, operating licences, monitoring programs, standards and best practice in relation to water, land use, contamination and waste disposal.
- Develop and implement an environmental management system that aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement in environmental performance.
