About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at Venue Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of our iconic venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Venue Manager in ensuring the seamless running of the venue, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective rostering and scheduling systems to ensure optimal staff coverage.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and investigate any discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Work closely with the Head Office team to implement and execute promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all customers and staff, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of venue operations, including inventory management, customer service, and staff management.
