Aerospace Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Auditor to join our team at LRQA. As an Aerospace Auditor, you will be responsible for undertaking complex business assurance assessments and recommending certification, deferral, suspension, withdrawal of certification, validation or verification against the appropriate standard(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures, ensuring that all internal client stakeholders are kept informed of changes and issues.
- Lead multi-disciplinary and/or international assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales.
- Produce high-quality assessment reports or other reports, reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
- Have a thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application via a business assurance approach.
- Supervise induction/coaching/knowledge transfer for assigned new auditors and coach auditors under training.
- Participate fully in auditor meetings, developing materials, presenting, and coaching others in your area of expertise.
Requirements:
- Aerospace auditor qualifications.
- Substantial experience in third-party auditing/assessment, including system-level auditing and process-level auditing.
- Understanding of the principles of client management and application within the role.
- Experience in developing and managing complex technical projects.
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
