Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead our project team in the development of civil and structural components for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in design, development, and construction of civil and structural components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate the civil engineering work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and modify civil components, including structures, roads, and pavements, using advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to ensure the unique and complex requirements of civil and structural components are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve problems with conflicting design requirements, and provide solutions that meet project needs.
  • Communication: Coordinate with project functions, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in the mining and metals industry.
  • Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (RPEQ) or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
