Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to fill this exciting role.

About the Position:

  • Provide therapeutic group and individual programs under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with mobilizing and transferring residents, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Prepare and assist fellow OTA staff to conduct resident activities and outings correctly and safely, promoting a positive experience for all.
  • Record and maintain accurate statistics, progress notes, and other required documents in a timely manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination per policies.
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance within 6-months validity.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks.
  • Willingness to attend a comprehensive Induction program.
  • Desirable qualifications include Certificate III or Certificate IV in Occupational Therapy Assistant, experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, and previous experience in aged care.
