Ward Assistant

The selected candidate will maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in the ward or department. This will involve regular cleaning tasks, serving patient meals, collecting dishes, and returning trolleys as required.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure all areas of the ward/unit are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Prepare and serve patient meals, collect and return dishes, and manage food delivery systems.
- Assist with patient transfers and movement within the hospital, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Applicants must possess strong communication and teamwork skills, be able to lift heavy loads, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid working visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
