We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Manager to lead our Foster Care and Kinship Care program in Wagga Wagga. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in working with vulnerable populations, including children and young people in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC). They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals to deliver high-quality trauma-informed and therapeutic case management services.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective support plans tailored to individual needs. The Program Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
In addition to their technical skills and experience, the successful candidate will be a natural leader who can work autonomously when necessary. They will be empathetic, caring, and kind individuals who understand the importance of creating a cohesive and nurturing work environment.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years of experience working with Children and Young People in OOHC
- Experience in working with Aboriginal young people, their families, and their communities
