Expert Field Educator

A fantastic opportunity to support students undertaking field placements in Social Work. This is a casual position requiring flexibility and adaptability.
This role plays a vital part in the success of our students, providing specialized support throughout their field education components of study.
- Supporting students with quality education that promotes their ability to integrate theory with practice and respond to diverse needs and situations;
- Monitoring student professional development and academic performance throughout the placement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current trends in Social Work and training, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Essential Qualifications:
- Eligibility for full membership of the AASW with a minimum two years of full-time post-qualifying practice experience;
- Awareness of issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communities;
- Technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools.
