Travel Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Travel Sales Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the travel industry and has a strong background in leadership and sales.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, coach and support a team of travel sales consultants to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

A key aspect of this role is providing guidance on operational processes, product training and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated sales experience in retail travel agency environments, preferably with a Certificate III in Travel qualification or higher.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, including coaching, training and developing a team. A passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience are also highly regarded.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of travel sales consultants
  • Provide guidance on operational processes and product training
  • Maximize revenue through upselling opportunities
  • Support the development of the team through coaching and training

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated sales experience in retail travel agency environments
  • Certificate III in Travel qualification or higher
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching and training
  • Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience
