As Director of Engineering and Innovation, you will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge engineering design solutions that meet client needs while driving sustainability and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, stormwater, and flooding engineering, with experience in line management and technical guidance. You will be responsible for providing oversight of day-to-day project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness targets are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to grow their career, with a focus on developing skills required for the role. You will work closely with project managers, design managers, and other technical disciplines to foster collaboration and drive growth opportunities.

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. If you are a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for innovative engineering solutions, we encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for:

  • Line Management of a team of engineers
  • Providing specialist technical guidance and direction
  • Delivering sustainable and innovative design solutions
  • BUILDING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH PROJECT MANAGERS AND DESIGN MANAGERS
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of wider team members
  • Providing input into and engagement with the development and implementation of strategy and vision

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree recognised by a relevant industry association or institute Chartered professional status
  • Demonstrated industry experience including supervising aspects of a project and application of standards and technical knowledge within the urban development market
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent communication and relationship building skills
