Obstetrics and Gynaecology Opportunity

Mater Mother's Hospital is Australia's largest maternity service, providing world-class care in our tertiary facility located in Brisbane's South Bank precinct. Our multidisciplinary team delivers exceptional services across both South Brisbane and Springfield sites.

This 12-month role includes exposure to all facets of obstetrics and gynaecology, including Birth Suite, Early Pregnancy and Pregnancy Assessment Units, Antenatal Clinic, Obstetric Medicine, General Gynaecology, Advanced Laparoscopy and Adolescent Gynaecology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care
  • To participate in education, audit and research activities
  • To develop and maintain skills in obstetrics and gynaecology

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Medical Degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for at least provisional registration with AHPRA
  • Experience as a resident in relevant specialties (acceptable)
