About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in the NSW region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal periods.
  • Work collaboratively with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective management of obstetric emergencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in midwifery care.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
  • Ability to work competently in birth suite and effectively manage obstetric emergencies using a team approach.
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the Unit/Department specialty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong patient focus.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team environment.
  • Ability to meet strict compliance requirements.
