Sign Writer/Installer Trade Career

Are you looking for a hands-on trade career where every day is different?
Apart from assembling and installing signage, you will also be responsible for transporting and preparing worksites, including removing old signage. You will safely use hand and power tools, lifts, and scaffolding while working at heights and carrying signage as part of team installations. Additionally, you will learn how to check signage for quality and follow instructions for placement and timelines.
This 4-year apprenticeship involves attending TAFE and gaining nationally recognised qualifications. It provides an opportunity to build skills for a career in the signage industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality work
- Flexibility to work some nights and weekends
- Ability to travel around Australia and New Zealand
- A current manual driver's licence and a White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
