About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Ecology Expert to join our team at EBR. As an Ecology Expert, you will be responsible for undertaking desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity assessments, providing advice on environmental designs, and preparing biodiversity offset strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity assessments to identify potential environmental impacts.
- Provide expert advice on environmental designs, including fauna connectivity structures, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement biodiversity offset strategies to mitigate environmental impacts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Prepare high-quality reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards.
Requirements:
- BAM accredited assessor
- Experience in NSW undertaking biodiversity assessments
- Expertise and confidence in the identification of NSW vegetation communities
- A desire to grow, lead, and develop people
- An appreciation of commercial risk management in the consulting industry
- Current driver's license
