Job Overview:

This varied position involves managing defence projects in a consulting environment. The successful candidate will have expertise in civil engineering and experience working on multidisciplinary defence projects.

We are seeking a qualified Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist with strong links to the Australian Defence sector.

The ideal candidate will be a values-driven individual who can deliver excellence for clients while maintaining a collaborative team culture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination and Design Management: Oversee the coordination of multidisciplinary defence projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Culture Development and Coaching: Foster a culture of outstanding delivery within the team by developing work flow processes and providing coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities, pursue new business leads, and secure projects with clients and industry partners.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Professional registration with Engineers Australia or equivalent; and
  • Proven experience in project management and design management.

You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
