Job Description:

This role involves providing maintenance support to the Dugald River Mine operations as an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safe operation of assets, including fixed electrical and instrumentation infrastructure. Daily and weekly targets will be measured against production targets, which are critical KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure statutory compliance in maintaining fixed electrical and instrumentation infrastructure while promoting a safe working culture.
  • Perform daily and weekly tasks to maintain asset reliability and ensure safe operation.
  • Assist in fault finding and fixed plant maintenance for heavy industrial and process environments.

Requirements:

  • Dual trade certification in Electrical and Instrumentation along with at least 3-5 years of trade experience.
  • Strong work ethic, safety values, and extensive maintenance background in underground environments.
  • Solid experience in HV switchgear, motor controls, variable speed AC drives, Schneider PLCs, pneumatic, and electronic process control instrumentation.
  • Literacy in computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP is highly regarded.

Earnings Estimate: The estimated annual salary range for this position is AUD $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
