Forklift Operator Role

Experienced personnel are sought for a critical position within our logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload freight safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Manage the loading of outgoing Linehaul freight, ensuring timely departures from our depot.
  • Unload local PUD freight in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Exercise control over freight, including pallets, awkward/oversized cargo, and dangerous goods.
  • Maintain compliance with load restraint standards to ensure the safe transportation of goods.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience loading Linehaul freight within the past 5 years.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Linehaul load distribution principles.
  • Proven ability to handle oversize and dangerous goods.
  • Understanding of load restraint compliance requirements.
