Emergency Department Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Physician to join our team at one of the largest hospitals in rural South Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical services in the Emergency Department, including telehealth involvement.
- Assist the Executive Director of Medical Services in planning and organizing the delivery of clinical services.
- Exercise professional judgment and clinical competence in a multi-disciplinary setting, with limited or no direction or supervision.
- Manage the clinical floor, responding to hospital MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required.
- Provide supervision, training, and direction to junior staff as needed.
- Participate in teaching, quality assurance, and health promotion activities.
- Initiate and support clinical improvement activities.

Requirements- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a medical position in a community health centre, primary care unit, or emergency department.
