A.I.R Recruitment is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Trainee to join our esteemed client in the Hunter Valley region. This full-time permanent position offers above award rates, overtime, and RDOs.

Our client is a 100% Australian-owned and operated market leader in process and manufacturing, with products marketed worldwide. They are now looking for enthusiastic individuals to gain an Electrical trade apprenticeship or similar qualification.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical requirements across the site and production lines, including preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing issues with electrical equipment.

  • Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Perform preventative and planned maintenance on machinery and equipment, including production lines.
  • Demonstrate experience with PLC and SCADA systems.

This role requires a strong interest in electrical work, excellent teamwork skills, and a positive can-do attitude. You must be reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time hours, with a drivers licence and your own car to get to and from work.
