Store Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and self-driven Warehouse Storeperson to join our Energy team at NRMA in Smithfield. This is a part-time permanent opportunity for someone to work 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with consistent flexible hours available as required and agreed for the role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall successful daily operation of the warehouse for the Energy business and provide support project delivery and maintenance. Key responsibilities include providing administration support in operations and other meetings, advising on urgent issues requiring attention, maintaining register of inventory for tracking and management, coordination and supervision of 3rd parties accessing the warehouse, administration of EV site keys, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the office space, developing, maintaining, and providing reporting on stock movements and condition, receiving, handling and despatching goods, researching and meeting with suppliers, placing requisitions and receipt orders, monitoring and controlling the flow of goods into and out of store, using a forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the store/workshop area, maintaining cleanliness & organisation of the Store, keeping records of delivered and dispatched goods, tracking record of responsibility when handling company assets, and maintaining effective HSE controls within the warehouse and office space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administration support in operations and other meetings
  • Advise on urgent issues requiring attention
  • Maintain register of inventory for tracking and management
  • Coordinate and supervise 3rd parties accessing the warehouse
  • Administer EV site keys
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the office space
  • Develop, maintain, and provide reporting on stock movements and condition
  • Receive, handle and despatch goods
  • Research and meet with suppliers
  • Place requisitions and receipt orders
  • Monitor and control the flow of goods into and out of store
  • Use a forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the store/workshop area
  • Maintain cleanliness & organisation of the Store
  • Keep records of delivered and dispatched goods
  • Track record of responsibility when handling company assets
  • Maintain effective HSE controls within the warehouse and office space

The ideal candidate will have medium to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet, good communication skills, ability to work with a high volume of data with high attention to detail, proven ability to maintain good working relationships with contracted service providers, professional attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WH&S) laws and legislation, and ability to lift items within WorkSafe guidelines.

  • Administrative experience in general office duties

A valid driver's license and forklift license (current license or willing to obtain license) are also required for this position.
