The right candidate will lead the leasing portfolio, driving strategy to maximize income across responsible assets. This involves delivering exceptional retail experiences, partnering with retailers, and creating memorable moments for customers and communities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering on performance targets, minimizing vacancy, and managing overall performance, including NOI.
  • Leading new lease negotiations and renewals, from initial contact to handover, ensuring accurate input in required systems.
  • Reviewing rent market rates and adjusting asset rates accordingly, with relevant approvals.
  • Ensuring retailer and asset obligations are met under each lease.
  • Preparing proposals and sourcing new business to contribute to rental growth and low vacancy levels.
  • Developing annual leasing budgets and strategic leasing plans, reviewing the Asset's Strategic Leasing Plan to ensure budget and vision are achieved.
  • Utilizing asset research, trade area developments, and emerging retail trends to deliver on role requirements.
  • Adhering to process projections and effectively processing property transactions, maintaining data integrity.
  • Contribution to assessment and strategy for adaptive reuse and introduction of other uses for the Retail Portfolio.
  • Masterplanning, operational strategies, and activation strategies for Mirvac Mixed Use projects requiring Retail expertise.

This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and excellent decision-making skills. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in retail leasing, partnership management, and commercial/financial acumen. A proven track record of achieving results, influencing, and building relationships is essential.

Salary Estimate: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards and location.
