The Medical Imaging Technologist is a vital member of the medical imaging team, responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.
- Conducts imaging examinations across various modalities and sites, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Demonstrates expertise in a range of diagnostic procedures and technologies, ensuring accurate and effective results.
- Performs duties in General X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, CT, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories, and other areas where appropriately trained.
- Participate in clinical radiography, performing imaging examinations independently.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in diagnostic imaging technologies.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent qualification required.
- National registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist required.
