Senior Software Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned developer to join our listings crew and play an integral part in developing marketing products for the Real Estate Industry. This senior role requires expertise in developing web and backend applications using C#.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience working with agile methodologies, and proficiency in designing and developing .NET Framework applications.

Domain is a leading property marketplace reaching 7 million Australians each month, making it one of the country's most recognised and trusted property platforms. We operate multiple real estate websites and provide solutions to consumers, agents, government and enterprise to digitise every step of the property journey.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs and Front-end experiences for Domain Agent Admin
  • Debug and solve production issues
  • Write clean, readable and performant C# code
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure a solid, bug-free code base
  • Participate in sprint planning and refinement
  • Code review other team members code on a daily basis
  • Attend technology communities and participate in organisation-wide initiatives
  • Assist with incident management when needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working with C#
  • Experience in designing and developing .NET Framework applications
  • Be familiar working in an agile environment
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity etc)
  • Desirable skills: Node.js, GraphQL, Next.js, React.js or similar frameworks (like Vue or Angular)
