The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong understanding of civil drafting and design principles used in producing final documentation.

A key responsibility of the Civil Design Drafter will be to prepare high-quality detail drawings using engineering designs and advanced knowledge of design, modelling, and drafting principles.

  • Maintain consistency across all relevant projects by ensuring adherence to client standards.
  • Develop and maintain corporate documentation standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams on multi-discipline projects to ensure seamless integration through tools and systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients to deliver project results and maintain relationships.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Diploma in Civil Drafting/Engineering from a Recognised Training Centre (RTO) and minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD design software and solid understanding of design packages such as 12d and/or MicroStation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
