Strategic Finance Leader

Our company is entering a new era of growth and transformation. As a Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and direction.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead all aspects of our financial management, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all core finance functions – accounting, tax, compliance, reporting, cash flow, and forecasting.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow proactively, including oversight of accounts receivable and payable.
  • Review and improve financial controls, systems, and processes to support scalable growth.
What You'll Lead

You will be responsible for:

  • Financial & Commercial Oversight: Manage consolidation of group financials, enforce robust governance, and deliver rigorous financial discipline.
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Develop group-wide budgeting, scenario planning, and long-term modelling to guide growth.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead a multi-entity finance team, fostering a unified, high-performance culture with a structured succession plan.
Qualifications

We are seeking a CA or CPA qualified professional with:

  • Strong experience in Group Financial Controller, Group Finance Manager, or senior finance roles within scaling or multi-entity businesses.
  • 5+ year experience in a Controller role, with global impact or similar.
