The School of Allied Health Science and Practice at The University of Adelaide seeks qualified Occupational Therapists to fill casual clinical educator positions.
This opportunity involves facilitating simulated learning experiences for 3rd year occupational therapy students, developing their foundational professional behaviours, communication, and clinical skills in a standardised manner.
We are looking for experienced Occupational Therapists who can supervise and educate students in various settings, including adult acute inpatients, adult rehabilitation inpatients, and adult community.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and supervise simulated client case studies and indirect clinical activities
- Develop and implement teaching materials and lesson plans
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality learning experience
- Current AHPRA Occupational Therapy Registration
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in educating or mentoring students/early career Occupational Therapists
- Knowledge and experience using the Student Practice Evaluation Form 2 (SPEF-R2)
