Automation Software Specialist Role

This opportunity offers a chance to excel as an Automation Software Specialist. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of software solutions.


The ideal candidate will collaborate with the development team to apply rigorous testing practices in an agile environment. They will contribute to defining and driving automated testing strategies to achieve consistent and efficient outcomes.


  • Develop comprehensive test execution plans, including automated and risk-based testing.
  • Perform thorough testing across all cycles: Integration, Verification, Regression, and Validation.
  • Contribute to creating, maintaining, and updating the Automation Suite.
  • Suggest improvements in test approach and tooling.
  • Identify and retest defects to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of industry experience in hands-on testing and automation roles.
  • Strong automation skills and experience are essential for this position.
  • Experience with at least one automation testing tool like Playwright, Cucumber, or WebDriverIO is required.
  • A basic understanding of SQL and ability to execute queries for application verification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to share ideas and learn from others.

Key Responsibilities

As an Automation Software Specialist, you will be responsible for:


  • Collaborating with the development team to develop and implement automated testing strategies.
  • Designing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality.
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of the Automation Suite.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in test approach and tooling.
  • Ensuring seamless user experiences through defect identification and retesting.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • At least 5 years of experience in automation testing and software development.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in automation testing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to execute queries.
