About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our Financial Crime Compliance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the Group's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems through data modelling and continuous system optimisation.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Crime Analysis: Analyse financial crime data to identify trends and anomalies, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Model Development: Develop and maintain customer risk models to ensure accurate risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement detection strategies and prevent financial crime.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive cost savings through process improvements and model accuracy enhancements.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in using SAS, SQL, R, and Python programming languages, along with knowledge of best practice coding principles.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with data analysts and providing technical guidance and insights.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, ability to adapt to business concepts quickly, and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
