RSM Australia is a leading professional services firm seeking a highly skilled Insolvency Professional to join our team in Australia.

Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of insolvency, restructuring and turnaround matters while developing your skills and expertise.

About the Role

As an Insolvency Professional at RSM Australia, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and control of small to medium insolvency engagements, as well as performing more technical tasks on larger engagements.

You will be exposed to a variety of complex and challenging cases, and will have extensive opportunities for learning and development, including Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs and other professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations into the affairs of companies and individuals, and prepare reports for clients.
  • Review receipt authority, payment authority, day one investigation letters, and statutory forms.
  • Prepare ASIC reports, and assist with interviews of directors and bankrupts.
  • Help identify, research, and resolve complex issues, and prepare letters of demand.
  • Assist with the sale of businesses, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Liaise with lawyers, agents, and auctioneers, and draft correspondence to creditors.
Requirements
  • A Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major, or a Law degree with an interest in Insolvency.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
