We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Scentre Group. This role is focused on finance, offering exposure to all facets of shopping centre management, providing a unique and varied opportunity to contribute to our success.

About the Role:

This full-time position includes Duty Management responsibilities, requiring occasional weekend shifts on a roster basis, balanced with a day off in lieu.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of annual asset budgets and ensure financial outcomes are achieved.
  • Analyse and manage Profit and Loss reports, including processing monthly accruals, journals, and prepayments.
  • Identify and present financial risks and opportunities to the Asset Team with actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct bi-monthly budget forecasting to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Oversee daily banking, reconciliations, accounts payable, and tenant invoices for expense recoveries.
  • Support operational teams to address customer and retailer needs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Strong acumen in financial management, including budgeting, P&L oversight, and risk analysis.
  • Ability to identify trends and provide solutions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with various computer systems and software applications.
  • Confidence in engaging with both finance and non-finance professionals.
  • A background in accounting or financial services, ideally within retail property or similar industries.
  • A proactive approach to challenges and a passion for excellence in customer service.
Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (based on location and experience).
