Indirect Tax Specialist Role">

As a key member of our tax team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely compliance of indirect taxes. This includes GST, Payroll tax, PAYG and FBT.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Maintain accounting records to support monitoring and evaluating business performance, including liaising with external agents to assist with their compliance activities.">
  • Reconcile BAS payments and refunds for financial reports and liaise with managers to recommend resolutions for any discrepancies.">
  • Register Australian Business Numbers for all group members and maintain associated records.">
  • Provide ad-hoc indirect tax advice on GST implications affecting new initiatives, system upgrades, and transactions.">
  • Report and reconcile PAYG accounts, analyse payroll reports received from the external bureau, and perform monthly tax calculations and annual reconciliations.">
  • Ensure indirect tax policies and procedures align with our Tax Framework.">
  • Liaise with relevant authorities as required.">
  • Assist the financial reporting team during peak seasons by preparing work papers for consolidated financial statements and note disclosures.">
