Speech Pathology Team Lead

This is a unique opportunity to work in a leadership position, providing guidance and support to a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and extensive experience working as a Speech Pathologist.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with children with complex communication needs, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt their communication style to suit different stakeholders.

In addition to providing guidance and support to the Speech Pathology team, the successful candidate will maintain a small caseload of children aged 0-8 years, providing best-practice family-centred speech pathology assessment and intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision of goal-directed speech therapy for eligible individuals
  • Provision of family-centred therapy services for children aged 0-8 years
  • Provision of speech pathology consultation to early childhood professionals and contribution to professional development schedules
  • Provide advice and consultancy regarding language and communication needs
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Extensive experience working as a Speech Pathologist
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with complex communication needs
