Teaching Opportunity in Newcastle

We are seeking sessional lecturers to support on-campus teaching in Newcastle. Teaching involves delivering engaging, high-quality sessions across the Applied Science, Nursing, and Medical programmes.

About the Role

As a lecturer, you will deliver modules in biology and/or chemistry. You will prepare lesson plans, teach classes, assess student work, and provide academic support and feedback.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Teaching biology and/or chemistry modules as required.
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback.
  • Supporting students at foundation level, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge for academic success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adapting teaching to meet international student needs.
  • Collaborating with programme leads to ensure a consistent and positive learning experience.
  • Maintaining strong subject knowledge and commitment to student development.
Requirements
  • Experience teaching biology and/or chemistry, preferably in schools, FE colleges, or higher education.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse student needs.
  • Strong subject expertise and dedication to student growth.
