Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and clinical best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status, documenting observations and reporting any changes to the clinical team and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including caregivers, allied health professionals, and physicians, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support residents and their families by providing education, emotional support, and guidance on health-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including progress notes, assessments, and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to aged care and clinical practice.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Commitment to providing person-centered care with dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

- Competitive Pay Rates and Benefits: We offer a rate above awards with a base pay range of $54 to $64 per hour plus penalty rates (afternoon, night, weekends, and public holidays), superannuation, and employee benefits.
- Travel Allowance: We are offering an allowance of $30 for those traveling long distances.
