Job Opportunity: Store Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our retail team as a Store Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care
  • Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience
  • Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor
  • Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system
  • Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail

You will also be required to:

  • Maintain good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives
  • Use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast-paced environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution
  • Good computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • A passion to help people and a desire to get results
  • The physical capability to handle our products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, committed, proactive and driven with a can-do attitude
