Role Overview
A highly motivated and experienced Clinical Coder is required to join our friendly, progressive, and supportive coding team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. This role involves working with a dynamic skills progression pathway and robust in-house and external training.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assigning diagnosis and procedures codes using ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS current Edition. They will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality coding standards are maintained and provide support to other coders as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to three years of coding experience at the tertiary facility level, strong time management and problem-solving skills, and a recognized ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS coding course from HIMAA, TAFE or equivalent. Recent experience and competence using ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS current Edition for at least three years is also essential.
