About the Role

Premier People is seeking a skilled Mechanical Conveyor Technician to join our dynamic shutdown team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months hands-on experience in conveyor maintenance, with a focus on rollers and skirts. As a Conveyor Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance of conveyor systems within mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair conveyor belt system components, including scrapers, roller frames, skirting systems, and belt tracking units.
  • Clean and adjust primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units.
  • Conduct conveyor safety and operational inspections.
  • Adhere to and possess a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Requirements
  • Valid WA Driver's License or Passport.
  • Working at Heights ticket.
  • Working in Confined Spaces ticket.
  • Gas Atmosphere Testing ticket.
  • White Card.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Medical/Drug and Alcohol test.
