About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Recovery and Restructuring practice in Perth. As a Paralegal, you will work on behalf of major banks and non-bank lenders on secured and unsecured recovery matters. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of files, preparing and issuing legal documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of files from start to end, ensuring timely and efficient completion
- Prepare and issue legal documents, including statutory notices and court documents
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communications via our online portal
- Make outbound and inbound calls with defaulting customers, liaising directly with them to resolve sensitive financial matters
- Work with lawyers to progress matters through the Courts
About You
We are looking for a well-organized and self-motivated individual with strong time-management and prioritization skills. You will have the ability to work independently, while also being part of a friendly team environment. You will be able to work under pressure and deal with sensitive matters in a timely manner. You will also have superior drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
